About how we use your data

At Guide Bridge Theatre we like to be able to keep in touch with you.

Any data you give to us is never shared outside the theatre, and we only use it to contact you about theatre related topics.

E-mail

We use email to send out reminders for our shows and other items in our calendar (generally we do this the week before each of our shows to those who have not yet purchased a ticket for that particular show. We would also use this to send out our 'Cue Sheet' newsletter if you are a member of the theatre. We might, occasionally use the email to contact you about a booking if, for example, the seating had been altered or the date or times had had to be changed. Finally, we might email concerning specific one-off events that pop up between shows.

Telephone

We use a phone number to contact you about very late changes to a show time or perhaps a cancellation. We would also use it if we had attempted to contact you via email concerning a booking but had not had success, or if we have no email address.

Address

If you have no email access then we may use your address to contact you about other items at the theatre in the way we would use email for anyone else.

Members

If you are a member or have been involved at the theatre in as a volunteer, either on or off stage, then we would additionally use the information above to keep in contact with you relating to the aspects you have expressed an interest in, or if we are trying to find out if you are available and still interested to help out with future events in some way.

Actors, Directors, Volunteers (front and back stage)

If you have been involved at the theatre as a volunteer, either on or off stage, then we would additionally use the information above to keep in contact with you relating to the aspects you have expressed an interest in, or if we are trying to find out if you are available and still interested to help out with future events in some way.

What to do if you object to us keeping your data

If you object to us keeping your data for any reason then please email us on secretary@gbtheatre.co.uk, tell us who you are and what data you want us to remove (for example telephone, email, address, interests) and we will remove it.
