Guide Bridge Theatre is an amateur theatre. Auditions are open to all. To audition for a play or part in our pantomime, please register your interest by emailing audition@gbtheatre.co.uk and stating the name of the production and the role(s) you are interested in.
 
You are advised to do this as early as possible to guarantee your audition, ideally no later than one week before the audition date.
 
Please note, you must register your interest in advance to allow us to plan auditions. We cannot guarantee auditions for walk ups on the day.

A family adventure full of laughter, love - and one very tall beanstalk.
Characters to be cast:
 
For this year’s pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk, we are looking for talented dancers who sparkle and shine, with strong performance technique.
 
As well as dancing in the musical numbers, you will also be asked to take on small ensemble roles within the show.
 
Villagers / Ensemble / Dancers / Daisy the Tap-Dancing Cow - Played by the dancers and ensemble.
The people of Trottsville, Cloud Creepers, chorus members, banner holders and wedding guests. They transform the world of the play through song, movement and spectacle.
 
We are looking to cast:
 
10 child dancers (aged 7–15)
4 adult dancers (aged 16+)
(Dancers of a mature age will also be considered.)
 
Please note: to be considered for an adult dancer role, you must have left high school.
Adult dancers must have tap experience and own a pair of tap shoes.
 
Audition Details
 
Child Dancers - 1pm – 2:15pm
As a group, you will learn a short section of choreography. After a brief rehearsal, you will be split into smaller groups and asked to perform the routine for the audition panel.
 
Adult Dancers - 2:30pm – 3:30pm
You will be taught a short tap routine, then split into small groups to perform for the audition panel.
 
Arrival Information
 
Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to register before your audition.
 
Children should arrive at 12:30 with a parent or guardian to complete personal details and contact information.
Adults should arrive by 13:30 to complete forms and be ready to start promptly.
