Directors' Pitch for our 2027/28 Season
Have you ever dreamed of bringing a play to life on stage? Do you have a vision, a story you're burning to tell, or a production that's been living in your head rent-free? Guide Bridge Theatre wants to hear from you!
We are now inviting directors to pitch for our exciting 2027/28 season - and we are open to plays from all genres. Whether you have a firm favourite in mind or a bold new idea, we would love to see what you can bring to our stage.
Our season will include:
- Four main stage productions
- One studio production
- One musical, performed on our main stage in July 2028
- One pantomine (not included in this year's pitch event)
We are particularly keen to include one production with roles for younger cast members, reflecting the fantastic young talent we have in our company - so if you have something in mind that would suit, we'd especially love to hear from you!
Show weeks are as follows:
- 06 - 11 September 2027
- 18 - 23 October 2027
- 07 - 12 February 2028
- 15 - 20 May 2028
- 26 June - 01 July 2028 (Studio only)
- 21 - 29 July 2028 (Musical)

Complete our Pitch Form, giving as much detail as possible about your proposed production. The more you can tell us, the better placed we are to find the right fit for our stage and our season.
Successful applicants will be invited to an in-person pitch event on Saturday 5th September at 3pm at Guide Bridge Theatre - a great opportunity to see the space, talk us through your vision in more detail and ask any questions you may have.
Please note: the closing date for pitch form submissions is Friday 14th August 2026.

- Thursday, 26th June, 7 - 8pm, online via Google Meet
- Sunday, 4th July - Drop-in, 1 - 4pm at Guide Bridge Theatre
